Standing majestically in beautiful parkland, Villa Laura is an aristocratic 17th-century villa offering Tuscan living at its finest, with seven luxurious guestrooms accommodating up to 14 guests in a sophisticated ambiance. Large, frescoed rooms filled with antique furnishings offer elegance throughout, where modern conveniences blend beautifully with the rich heritage of this ancient family home. Grand reception rooms include a magnificent drawing room, a cosy TV lounge, a card room, a traditional Tuscan kitchen, a breakfast room and an elegant dining room.

The villa is nestled amid tranquil Italian gardens, through which a freshwater brook flows into two small lakes overlooked by a weeping willow, while grand cypress trees and fragrant lemon and herb gardens create a beautiful backdrop for the private swimming pool.

Built in 1624, Villa Laura is set in a verdant valley in the hills south of Lucca and was once the summer residence of a noble local family, whose members served for centuries as magistrates of the medieval commune and later held prominent positions within the Napoleonic-era Duchy of Lucca. This layered history remains woven throughout the villa today, offering guests a rare sense of connection to Tuscany’s aristocratic past.
