Villa Sodero sits at the forefront of Orašac village, amid olive groves, vineyards and citrus orchards, just 12 kilometres west of Dubrovnik’s Old Town. Its clean, modern lines contrast beautifully with the rugged slopes and quaint village setting, just a short ride from the Arboretum in Trsteno and the spa at Dubrovnik’s Sun Gardens Resort.

The area has long attracted those seeking respite—Dubrovnik’s nobility once built summer estates here, and in the 16th century the Florentine statesman Piero Soderini took refuge in Orašac after his exile from Florence, lending his name to this villa in tribute to that history.

Set on a 1,000 square metre plot, the villa features a large home, fragrant Mediterranean gardens, and a tucked-away terrace lounge with barbecue and heated pool. An east-west orientation ensures maximum sun exposure and sweeping sea views from every front-facing room. The ground floor’s open-concept kitchen, dining and living area, together with four bedrooms upstairs, make up 300 square metres of interior space, topped by a rooftop terrace. The villa comfortably sleeps eight guests, with two more accommodated on pull-out sofas.
