The splendid Villa Eryx sits in the Plaka region, its stone exterior set harmoniously against the hillside. Five elegant bedrooms accommodate up to ten guests in incomparable comfort, while three storeys set gently into the slope embrace panoramic views across the Elounda Gulf to the island of Spinalonga.

On the ground level, a private infinity pool is sunk into a large stone terrace, with the architectural design offering seclusion from every angle. An outdoor barbecue area sits to one side, and a covered, open-sided dining area to the other, keeping the seascape uninterrupted. Comfortable loungers and a day bed invite afternoon siestas, while the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area—finished with elegant modern art and a high-spec kitchen with wine fridge—makes for sophisticated evening gatherings, patio doors thrown open to the view.

Each of the five bedrooms offers a place to pause, with classy, sophisticated décor and marble ensuite bathrooms complete with jacuzzi baths. Three lower-level rooms open onto an internal garden with the sea beyond, while two first-floor rooms have their own sea-facing balconies. Days here can include a swim in the pool, a session in the hammam or gym, or a stroll into nearby Plaka—a small fishing village with authentic Greek charm, tavernas, markets and warm local hospitality, along with access to visit the island of Spinalonga just across the water.
