Such is the hypnotic pull of this beautiful eight bedroom sea front villa in the North East of the island. An old finca that has been lovingly restored to the standards of a luxurious boutique hotel, Casa Amadina is the love project of its owners who have considered all details. The interiors are a blend of clean Scandinavian lines softened by intricate Middle Eastern textures, accented by brushes of warm earthy colours. Modern designer furniture sits in harmony with older vintage pieces against chalky white finca walls and warm terracotta floors. Artisan carved wooden doors and cupboards add to the living-breathing dimension of this villa cocooned in nature. As you drive up through the gates and enter Casa Amadina, an ancient olive tree stands guard. Gnarled trees twist and twirl around the jagged edges of the majestic cliffs whilst the pines provide sanctuary and comfort from the wilderness. A proper family home with a social heart, there are plenty of outside areas to entertain or simply bask in. Our favourite is lying on the rocks feeling the heat radiate through our limbs. Outside feasts are easy with many elegant al fresco spaces whilst the little ones can dream up fantastical adventures in the tree house. An astro turf mini football pitch, yoga deck and private beach boathouse where you will find paddle boards and kayaks are also available for your tribe’s pleasure. Whilst feeling like a hide away, Casa Amadina is moments from the small village of San Carlos where some of the islands best kept secret eateries await, including oven roasted pizza and an ice cream parlour with intense flavours straight out of Italy. There are beaches a plenty from the golden sands of child friendly Cala Nova and Cala Llenya to the more secluded Cala Mastella and Pou des Lleo.
