Welcome to Villa Clara Maja, a 6-bedroom oceanfront villa in Peninsula Papagayo, Costa Rica, in a gated community covering over 2,300 Acres. This private luxury resort sanctuary is built on 54,230 sq. ft of private land and overlooks some of the most captivating views of the Pacific Ocean and the headlands visible towards the north and south. The villa is based specifically along the north-west province of Guanacaste with the Pacific Ocean located to the west of the villa while the views of the captivating pond and world-class Arnold Palmer golf course are towards the east. The villa can accommodate up to twelve guests across its lavish interiors and expansive exterior living spaces.

Facing the ocean, the villa is perched on a cliff three hundred feet above sea level. It has a dramatic semicircular architectural structure and an overall captivating exterior design. The interiors are lavish and elegant following an open plan design with sophisticated furnishings. The villa holds the views of the ocean at the epicenter of attention and is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and vivacious plants. Designed as a “bow and arrow” the villa is built into the land overlooking the sandy shores of Prieta Beach. The bow is a representation of the main villa and the arrow as a bridge, forming the bow and arrow shape. The property affords complete privacy both indoors and outdoors, with its large sunken courtyard terrace.

As you step out onto the warm wooden decking in the mornings you can slip into the refreshing waters of the large ninety-foot pool. The large pool is cantilevered at the edge of the terrace and embraces the 180-degree unobstructed Ocean views. The Olympic-size pool is lined with charcoal-black volcanic lava stone, imparting a deep blue color to the water. The edge of the pool blends with the endless horizon of the blue Ocean beyond. Here you can let your worries float away as you set into holiday mode. Indulge in an alfresco shower after your swim and relax on the comfortable sun loungers dotted around the edge of the pool. Soak up the suns warm radiance and if you get too warm you can always find comfort in the cool shade provided by the large Parasols. Whilst your full-time professional chef prepares some light and delicious breakfast dishes, you can enjoy your food out on the deck under the bridge from the first floor above. This covered dining area seats up to eight guests and enjoys incredible views of the Ocean. The deck also has secluded seating areas, perfect places to soak up the peaceful atmosphere and where you can read your favorite novel as you listen to the waves in the distance and feel the breeze as it skims across your skin.

Delving into the details of your lavish Villa, the interiors are fully Air-conditioned and open to the vast ocean views. The main living areas are fitted with large floor to ceiling windows which flood the space with light and warmth. The indoor dining area has direct access out onto the private terrace and blends with the living area. It is designed with pristine whitewashed walls and high vaulted ceilings. The dining table can seat up to ten of your guests comfortably. The kitchen comes fully equipped and ready for you to use if you wish. It includes modern stainless-steel appliances and other amenities including a microwave, icemaker, dishwasher, wine cooler, Nespresso, coffee maker and a blender. The villa also includes two private studies, modern Media room/home theater, fully equipped gym, laundry room, two garages and a two-bedroom caretaker apartment with a separate entrance.

The villa overall includes six luxurious bedrooms; three family bedrooms, three guest bedrooms and an additional staff bedroom. The master bedroom suite is entered from the main terrace from the exterior or through one of the master studies inside the villa. A unique feature of the master suite is a completely private, sunken Zen garden with an outdoor shower, which opens off the master bathroom. This creates an exotic retreat in which to bathe and relax. All the bedrooms in the villa have their own private en-suite bathrooms and high-resolution televisions. The remaining bedrooms include four luxurious Queen-sized beds and twin beds. The staff bedroom also has comfortable twin beds.
